Mr. James "Jimmy" Virgil Burress age 61, of the Norma Community, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was born March 3, 1951 in Scott County, Tennessee to the late Virgil and Tillie Jeffers Burress. He was a Member of the Norma Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brothers: Clifford, Arnold and Doyle Burress; Sisters-in-law: Joann and Chloe Burress.
He is survived by (1) Brother: Argil Burress and wife Kathy of Harriman, Tennessee; (4) Sisters: Imogene Vann of St. Fork, Marilyn Joan Cook and husband Ted of Knoxville, Tennessee, June Sharpe of Norma, Tennessee and Janet Chambers and husband Roy of Capital Hill, Tennessee; (1) Sister-in-law: Sheila Burress of Dunkirk, Indiana; (19) Nieces and Nephews and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 7:00 P.M., Sunday Evening, October 14, 2012 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Jason Chambers and Bro. James Pennington Officiating. Music will be provided by the Mason Family. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday Morning, October 15, 2012 in the River View Cemetery in the Smokey Jct. Community.
Pallbearers will be his Nephews: Danny Burress, Dale Burress, Jeremy Chambers, Dustin Sharpe, Derrick Sharpe and Kenny Vann.
