Mrs. Cassie Faye Jeffers Williams, age 77 of Oneida, passed away Thursday morning, November 8, 2012 at her home. Born July 4, 1935 in Scott County, TN she was the daughter of the late James Dillard and Flona Laxton Jeffers. Cassie was a member of the Buffalo Bridge Baptist Church, and was retired from the Scott County School System where she taught for 37 years.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a Daughter: Dianna Gail Williams; Brother: Carl Jeffers; and Sister: Anna Mae Jeffers.
She is survived by her Husband of over 54 years: Charlie M. "Bud" Williams; Sister: Reba Russell Brummett; special friend: Dr. Bruce Coffey; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral services at 1:00 PM with Bro. Kermit Phillips officiating. Music will be provided by Jimmy and Sarah Byrd. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Gary Terry, Billy Joe Williams, Jake Terry, Marshall West, Evan Cheatham and Matt Lewis.
