The services were Friday at Higgins Funeral Home with Eugene Peden officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside his wife, Mrs. Lula Anderson Holly.
A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late John Lee and Fannie Etta Sorrells Holly. He was a retired meat cutter, a veteran of World War I, and a member of Washington Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martha H. Parkes of Fayetteville; a son, Jim Bell Holly, Jr. of Lewisburg; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
