Mrs. McClure was born January 30, 1936 in Elmira, NY to Henry and Cecil (Saunders) Rosekrans. She graduated from Southside High School, Elmira, NY and attended Mensfield State Teachers College in Pennsylvania earning her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services at Elmira College.
She married Ronald McClure October 7, 1988 at the Assembly of God Church in Adams, NY.
Mrs. McClure loved crafts and crocheted sweaters for "Prayer Bears" and distributed them to cancer patients.
Surviving besides her husband Ronald are three daughters Elizabeth Faulkner, FL, Margie (David) Paige, Adams, Meredith (Richard) Paige, Mannsville, two sons Kelly (Audrey) Corby, Chaumont and Brandon McClure, Watertown. Three step children Ronald (Wendy) McClure, Michael (Crystal) McClure all of Barton, NY, Lisa(Pauli) McCain, Waverly, NY. One brother Richard (Nancy) Rosekrans, Erin, NY, 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 nephew and 3 nieces.
A Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm Sunday December 9, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Adams, Pastor Gene Hagelin officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Rodman at the families convenience. There are no calling hours.
