MRS. IDA M. GOODWIN

DIES FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS

Following a lingering illness, Mrs. Ida M. Goodwin, widow of W. T.

Goodwin, died this morning at 10:15 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Haud Shank of North Pittsburg street. Mrs. Goodwin was born at Indian Head, a daughter of Mrs. Sarah Berg Martin of Brookline and the late Jacob Berg. She spent virtually all of her life in Connellsville and was one of the most widely known and highly respected women of the community. Mrs. Goodwin was a member of the First Methodist Protestant Church and Missionary Circle No. 1.

Besides her mother and daughter, Mrs. Shank, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. R. E. Langhans of Hamburg. N. Y., and one son, Ray Goodwin, of Wheeling, W. Va.; two brothers, B. L. Berg of Connellsville and Charles Berg of DuBois, and one sister, Mrs. C. V. Snader of Brookville, and eight grandchildren. Mr. Goodwin died two years ago.

Funeral Director C. B. Brooks of Indian Head will have charge of the funeral, for which arrangements will be announced Tuesday.

The funeral service for Mrs. Ida M. Goodwin, widow of W. T. Goodwin
will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Haud Shank at 510 North Pittsburg street Rev. A. R. Mansberger, pastor
of the First Methodist Protestant Church will officiate. Interment will
be made in Hill Grove Cemetery in charge of Funeral Director Clyde B
Brooks of Indian Head.
