W. T. GOODWIN DIES

Suddenly at Home From Heart Attack

W. Thomas Goodwin, for 15 years a resident of this city, died suddenly at 6 o'clock this morning at his home, 238 East Crawford avenue, from a heart attack.

Mr. Goodwill employed as a stationary engineer by the Baltimore and Ohio railroad, was preparing to go to work when the attack occurred. He was sitting in a chair putting on his shoes at the time.

Last Tuesday he became ill with an attack of grip, and since then he had not worked. Feeling better over the week-end, he decided to report for duty.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by one son, Ray Goodwin of Wheeling, W. Va., two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Langhans of Buffalo, N. Y., and Miss Sara, at home, together with eight grandchildren.

Mr. Goodwin came here from Virginia about 48 years ago and had since resided in this city. He was in business here with his brother, the late F. O. Goodwin, for many years. For the past 15 years he had been employed by the railroad company.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Interment will be in Hill Grove Cemetery in charge of Funeral Director C. B. Brooks of Indian Head.
