Born January 28, 1916, in Newnan, Mrs. Hines was the daughter of the late Columbus Lamb Allen and the late Donnie Christian Allen. She was a longtime resident of Hogansville, was a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, and was the wife of the late John Quinton Hines. For twenty years, Mrs. Hines operated Frances Hines Weddings and Catering and served the entire west Georgia region.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at two p.m., Friday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. Dr. Richard Gillespie officiated.
