Ruth Elva Reardon was born December 5, 1951, in Bloomington, Illinois, the daughter of Herman Carver and Grace Cordellia Foster Rutledge. She married Steven Wayne Reardon May 29, 1976, in Bloomington. He survives.
Other survivors include her parents, three brothers, Gary Rutledge, Paul (Annette) Rutledge, and Kevin (Rose) Rutledge, seven nieces and nephews to whom Ruth was very close.
Her grandparents preceded her in death.
Ruth was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Bloomington, IL. She was very active in her church. She played the organ, sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school for over 30 years.
She had worked at Country Companies Insurance in Commercial Underwriting since 1991.
