Funeral Services for Mrs. Beatrice Veal Smith, age 98, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Bethany Baptist Church with interment to follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jarrett Burch and Rev. Brant Kennedy will officiate.
Mrs. Smith was born April 4, 1914 in Washington County. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Jessie Loran and Irene Colson Veal. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In her younger years, she taught at a one room school, the Mayo Hill School. Mrs. Smith passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at her residence.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2012 at the funeral home.
