Funeral services for Becky Ann Davis Parker, 62, of Crowville will be held at 1 PM Friday, December 7, 2012 in First Baptist Church Crowville with Rev. Terry Ganey officiating. Interment will follow in Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Visitation will from 10 AM until time of service Friday, at the church.
Becky was born to Clarence V. and Marjorie Louise Meyers Davis on August 14, 1950 in Winnsboro and passed from this life to her eternal home on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at her residence.
She was a 1968 graduate of Winnsboro High School and was a member of First Baptist Church Crowville. She previously was employed with South Central Bell and Franklin Parish Sheriff's Department before marrying Don Parker in 1992 and becoming a homemaker. Her hobbies included painting, refinishing antiques, swimming and spending time with her precious grandchildren.
Becky's favorite color was red and she requested that her friends and families wear red to her funeral service. She was preceded in death by her father Clarence V. "Shorty" Davis and son Griff Griffing.
She is survived by her husband Don Parker; daughter Jennifer Lin Griffing Johns Allen and her children Grant and Myles; sons: Barry Don and Dawn Parker and their family Haylie Thames and husband Bryan, Hillery Parker and Kassie Swain, and Jimmy Dale Parker and their children Courtney and Mandy; and great-grandchildren Payton Henry Thames and James Carter Ready. She is also survived by her mother Marjorie Louise Wright; sisters Barbara Lewis and husband Devonne and Lisa Womack; brother Dell Davis and wife Wanda; and a large loving extended family and many friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Becky's Bonco group.
