"Dr. Alleyne C. Howell of Springfield Center died Thursday night in Stamford, Conn. He was 93 years old. Dr. Howell was born in Barbados. He was rector of St. Stevens Church in Sewickley, Pa. from 1908 until 1934. Surviving are his wife, Rosalie Wardwell Howell; three sons, Henry Wardwell Howell of Darien, Conn., Alleyne Jr. of Fairfield, Conn. and John L. Howell of Greenwich, Conn., and seven grandchildren.
