Dorothy Paull Swancutt
JUNCTION CITY — A funeral Mass will celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Junction City for Dorothy Paull Swancutt of Junction City, who died Dec. 3 of complications from a stroke. She was 91.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Helens Catholic Church.
She was born April 9, 1921, in Los Angeles to Harold and Francis Herrnberger Doerr. She married Dale Swancutt on Feb. 12, 1988 in Junction City, He died in 2005. She married Stan Paull on May 1941 in Las Vegas, Nev. He died in 1980.
She graduated from high school in Los Angeles. She worked for about 15 years in retail at a local department/dress store in Junction City. The majority of her life was spent as a homemaker and caretaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Kate Mary Paull Harrison of Lincoln City; two stepsons, Larry of Eugene, and Scott of Junction City; two stepdaughters, Lin Lindly of Newport, and Mary Wilson of Independence; a brother, Robert Doerr of Junction City; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Virginia, died in 1952, and a daughter, Kathleen Oberembt, died in 1995. A son, James, died in 1997.
Burial will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11, in Rest Lawn Memorial Park.
