Carolyn Janell Latham, 67, Russellville, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
She was a native of Phil Campbell and lived in the Oak Grove community for the past 52 years. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She also participated in the Mountaintop Homemakers Club.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, at Beulah Baptist Church with Brother John Stancil, Brother Curtis Taylor, Brother T.L. Pierce and Brother Roger Jones officiating.
Additional viewing will be one hour before the funeral service. Burial will be in Beulah Baptist Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Bailey Latham, Russellville; children, Anita Blacklidge, Muscle Shoals, Wayne Latham, Russellville, Cathy Swinney, Phil Campbell, Mark Latham, Russellville, Amy Latham, Russellville, and Danny Latham, Chattanooga, Tenn; sister, Marie Keller; and two brothers, Henry Kinard Jr. and Jimmy Kinard, all of Phil Campbell; 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Larry Plott, Devaughn Ricketts, A.J. Jones, Sammy Swinney, Shaun Swinney and Lyle Garrison.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
