Rosco Foleno, 68, of Honaker,
died Aug. 26 in a Lebanon hospital.
Born in Drill, he was a son of
Hattie Owens Musick of
Richmond and the late Joseph
Foleno.
He was a lifelong resident of
the Honaker area and attended
the Rowe Free Pentecostal
Holiness Church. He was a
graduate of Honaker High
School, Class of 1949. He was
a conductor for Norfolk &
Southern Railroad, retiring
with 38 years of service. He
was a member of the Pruner
Lodge AF & AM 254, a Shriner,
and a former member of the
l.O.O.F. of Honaker.
In addition to his father, he
was preceded in death by his
first wife, Blanch Combs
Foleno in 1986.
Additional survivors: wife,
Velvie Foleno of Honaker; sons,
Billy Joe Foleno, Keith Foleno
and Barry Lee Foleno, all of
Honaker, Virginia and Roscoe
Foleno Jr. of Hiltons; sister,
Zeola Borkey of Hanover;
grandchildren, Jacqueline
Dawn Foleno, Brandy Michelle
Foleno, William Joseph Foleno;
and great-granddaughter,
McKenna Sutherland.
The funeral was conducted
Aug. 28 at 2 p.m. in the
Honaker Funeral Home Chapel
in Honaker with Rev. Ancil
Childress officiating.
Entombment followed in
Greenhills Memory Gardens
Mausoleum at Claypool Hill.
Masonic services will be conducted
at the funeral home
Aug. 27 at 7 p.m.
