OREM - M. Warren Johnson, 48, 1852 N. 4th W., Orem, was dead on arrival at the Utah Valley Hospital Friday evening. He was born May 22, 1922, in Lindon, a son of Victor C. and Enid Harmon Johnson.
He married Louise Wilcox on March 28, 1949, in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Johnson was the Provo representative of the Utah District Director of the Internal Revenue Service Office. He had worked in this office since 1948 and was recently made manager. He was a High Priest in the Orem Sixth Ward. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years during World War II, serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown.
A graduate of Pleasant Grove High School, Mr. Johnson was also a Brigham Young University graduate in accounting. He also attended Northwestern University graduate school.
Survivors include his widow, Orem; two sons and two daughters, Vickey, Scott, Marilee and Kent Johnson, all of Orem; three brothers, Oliver K. Johnson, Lindon; Winifred Johnson, Meadow Vista, Calif.; N. Floyd Johnson, Orem.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Orem Sixth Ward Chapel, 1500 N. State under the direction of Bishop Dennis Hill. Friends may call at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary in Orem Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the church Tuesday prior services. Burial will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
