22 Oct 1925: A marriage license was issued last week to Thomas Hartman of Cambridge City and Maude Scott of Jacksonburg.

Mr. & Mrs. Frank Allison entertained to dinner Sunday in honor of the marriage of Tommy Hartman and Miss Maude Scott. Guests present were Mrs. Minnie Scott, Mother of the Bride, Olin Scott and family of Richmond, Angelo Chiarenza and family, James Dolan of Jacksonburg, Leon Allison of Centerville, and Mr. & Mrs. Zach Dungen of Indianapolis.

Mrs. Thomas Hartman, age 47, died at her home south of town last Thursday, following 10 weeks illness. Survivors are the husband; four sisters Mrs Frank Allison and Mrs. Mabel Martin (who were triplet sisters of Mrs. Hartman); Mrs. Harlan Morrow of Blaine Lake, Sask. Canada, and Mrs. Anglo Chiarenza, one brother Olin Scott of Richmond, a niece and nephew. Funeral at the home with the Rev. F. C. McCormick officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
