David C. Minton, age 88, of Crestview, Fla., passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012. He was born Oct. 28, 1924, in Hood River, Ore., to the late Leslie and Rose (Carrol) Minton. David was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Marines. He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening, and was a talented craftsman. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
David is survived by his wife, Frances Minton; two sons, Leslie David Minton and Garry Winstead (wife, Terry); a daughter, Pamela Kennedy (husband, Dennis); five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
