Leo was serving in World War 2 and was killed in Action in the Mediteranean Janurary 26, 1944. Leo was a recipient of the Purple Heart.

Leo was raised in Sandy, Utah. He attended Jordan High School. Went into the service and was killed. There is a wooden cross with his name on it as killed in World War 2.
located at Sandy Museum. We are unsure about whether he was buried in Sandy, Utah or is still in Europe.


Thanks to a FAG Friend RMW We have found out that Leo was actually buried in Italy. So this memorial is a "Cenotaph"
from his original # 56310547
