Delores V. Clark, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, December 3, 2012 at her home in Brandon. Visitation is 4 - 7 pm Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and 9 - 10:15 am Thursday, December 6, 2012 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 10:30 am Thursday, December 6, 2012 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Arkadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, Bailey, MS.
Delores Vondell Williamson was born on October 19, 1932 to the late Kellie Clifton and Roxie Ellen McNeil Williamson in Kemper County, MS. She had been a resident of the Jackson area since 1950. She worked for over 42 years for Daniel, Coker, Horton & Bell, attorney's at Law, where she retired as office manager. She was a longtime member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church where she loved the people and the Choir. She was a cancer survivor and fighter; she loved gardening and the outdoors; and she loved to travel and being with people.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Gale Clark of Flowood, MS; her sister, Janis Temple and husband, Raford of Meridian, MS; her brother, Bernard N. Williamson of San Diego, CA; eight nieces and nephews; thirteen great nieces and great nephews; and eighteen great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
