Richard Mikedis was my brother.

Richard passed away suddenly at a friends home from a Heart Attack.

Richard sadly leaves behind a son, Daniel ,and a daugher, Laura to mourn him.

Richard is deeply missed by his mother, Flora Mikedis and his sister, Phyllis Jean Mikedis Foster, Linda Lee Meehan,
Wanda Mae Mikedis, and his brother Robert Daniel Mikedis.

Mom is having such a hard time with the sudden loss of Richard.

She says, " A Parent is not suppose to bury your child."

Mom is deeply missing Richard, so very , very much.

Richard had a heart of Gold, who would help anyone.

Richard, "You will never be forgotten".

Richard had a nickname of "Moose" to his friends.

"I Love You Brother",
from your sister, Phyllis and heartbroken family

THIS IS A POEM FOR MY BROTHER RICHARD, FROM HIS GRIEVING MOTHER , BROTHER AND SISTERS, AND HEARTBROKEN CHILDREN.

You never said you were leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it
And only God knows why

A million times I needed you
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you
You never would have died

In life I loved you dearly and in
Death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place
That know one could ever fill

It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home

RICHARD THIS IS FOR THE BEST BROTHER IN THE WORLD.
LOVE YOU BROTHER.

*************

"Little did we know on that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again."

*********
This is a poem that I stumbled upon (author unknown):

Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.

God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you

...no one will ever know.
