POSSIBLE Parents were James Gaussen of Ballyronan, Co. Derry and Matilda Magill, born in Cookstown, Co Tyrone Still looking for confirmation. If anyone has any confirmation or corrected parentage...please let me know.

John Samuel Gaussen, a Solicitor, of St. George's Parish, Dublin, son of James Gaussen, a Merchant, married Sarah Gaussen, of Clontarf Parish, Dublin, daughter of Charles Gaussen, a Solicitor, at Clontarf Parish Church, Dublin, on 28 August 1850.
The marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. James Reid, and the witnesses were Charles Gaussen Jr. and Jno. Neilson.
John and Sarah were 1st cousins as their fathers were brothers

John Samuel and Sarah had 4 known children: James (1853-1896)(married Mary Tittle); Elizabeth Dorothea (Eliza Doty)(b 1852-4)(married James Price 1892); Matilda Sophia (1855-1913)( never married); and Charles (b 1851). It is not known who raised the children after their parents early deaths, nor is it known if Charles lived to adulthood.
