Alonzo Carlton Gravette was the son of Alonzo C. Gravette and Mary Finley (Glass) Gravette, both from Kentucky. Carl married first Mary Juett Foster and his second wife was Margaret Josephine Kratzer. Carl and Margaret had six children. Carl was an Auto Machanic for the Pontiac Dealership in Dayton Ohio from 1945 to 1947. In 1954 Carl moved his family to California.
