Pekin - Patsy Lou Hopkins, 64, of 1312 Sommerset St. died at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Born June 18, 1940, in Beardstown to Warren L. and Mary Ethel Lawson Bell, she married Marion Lee Hopkins on June 30, 1958, in Creve Coeur. He died March 23, 2002, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Donna Hopkins and Cynthia Hopkins.
Surviving are four sons, Warren King of East Peoria, Rickey (and Denise) Hopkins of McLean, Heath (and Gidgit) Hopkins of Horton, Kan., and Curtis Hopkins of Pekin; four daughters, Debbie (and Michael) Simpkins, Vickie (and Andy) Davis and Dianna (and Jim) Strube, all of Pekin, and Christine Andersen of Lincoln, Neb.; 24 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She attended First Church of the Nazarene in Pekin.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, where visitation will be one hour before. The Rev. Greg Mason will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery in rural Manito.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Peoria.
