Wayne D. Kring, 78, of Peru, Ind., past away on Dec. 20th, after a prolong illness. Born on Oct. 4, 1926, in La Paz, Ind. to Frederick F. and Helen M. (Miller) Kring of La Paz. Wayne was employed as a Machine repairman with the Chrysler Corp., Kokomo Ind., and before moving to Peru, from Mishawaka, he worked for the Studebaker Corp. in South Bend.
Wayne served in the U.S. Navy, 1944 to 1946, seeing action in the Western Pacific, and Pillipine Sea.
On Aug. 31, 1946, in South Bend, married Barbee Ruth Richter, born Nov. 9, 1926, daughter of Roscoe D. and Vera D. (Sanner) Richter, of Mishawaka, Ind..
Preceding Wayn in death was his parents; two bothers, Frederick F., of Fort Worth, Tx., James E., of Mishawaka, Ind., and a sister, Lois M. (dale) Redman, La Paz, Ind.
Surviving is his wife Barbee, two daughters Toni and Drenea Kring, both of Pure, Ind.; Three brothers, Robert D., of Fort Worth, Tx., Charels B., of New Carlisle, Ind. and Michael E. of Mishawaka, Ind.; and a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wayne was a life long member of the VFW post 360, Mishawaka, and UAW Local #5, South Bend. Wayne will be buried with full military honers in Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru Ind..
