Whiel the survivors of Monday morning's tornadoes at Garland, Dallas County, and Nevada, Collin County, were burying their dead Tuesday, forces in Dallas and the stricken areas were being mustered for systematic relief, and funds to carry on the work were being received in increasing volume at the office of the Dallas chapter. American Red Cross, Harwood and Wood Streets.

Two of the injured in Dallas hospitals died Tuesday and the bodies were taken back to Garland for burial.

One of the injured to succumb was Grita Smiley, 12, who was the fifth member of her family to die as a result of the cyclone. One member of the family, Dorothy Smiley, 6, still lives, but her condition is such that her death is not unlikely, said attendants at St. Paul Sanitarium.

...Five members of the Smiley family were buried after services at Mills Cemetery at 3 p.m. These were Charles O. Smiley 35; his wife, 32, and three of their four children."
