Funeral services for Mrs Bertie Mae Allison, 76, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church, with burial in Davis Cemetery in White County.
Mrs Allison died Monday at the home of her son, Carl Allison, Sparta Rt 6, following a long illness.
A native of Putnam County, she was the daughter of Albert and Avo Davis Austin and was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her son, survivors are 3 daughters, Mrs O W Dilldine, Baxter; Mrs Mertie Mae Allison, Detroit; Mrs Rowena Floyd Mason, Oak Ridge; 2 brothers, Shelah and Amon Austin, Sparta.
