Charles Wade Coley died at the tender age of 23 from Leukemia. He had been on a hiking trip in Calif and when they came back from the trip he went to a doctor as he was so weak and did not know why. He was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia and only given a life expectancy of one year. He went through so much the next year and so many blood transfussions. He spent what time he had left with his wife, son Kirk and the rest of his family. He lived almost to the day of the year prediction. Chuck, we all miss you so very much. We miss the fishing trips, and the good times. Rest in peace dear step-son. Esther

Chuck's only son Kirk was killed in a tragic accident at the tender age of 9. Rest in Peace together.


Funeral Rites Today for Charles Coley

Charles Wade Coley, 23, American Fork died at the University of Utah Medical Center on Sunday, May 27, of leukemia.

He was born February 15,1950 in Coalville, Utah a son of Clifton R. and Virginia Cox Coley.

He married Johnett Blyze of American Fork on August 21, 1969 in Elko, NV.

He is survived by his wife and one son Kirk both of American Fork. his father, West Jordan, mother, Sandy; grandmother, Emily Elizabeth Cox, Ogden; one brother Clifton (Roy) Coley, Midvale, three sisters, Mrs Owen (Ginny Anne) Skinner Kearns, Mrs Dennis (Phyllis) Mauchley, Logan; Miss Lana Coley, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 31 at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel at 2 o'clock p.m. Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday one hour prior to the services. Cremation will follow.

Chuck is my step-son from my marraige to Clifton Ray Coley. We spent a lot of time together, visiting, fishing and enjoying each other's company. REST IN SWEET ETERNAL PEACE DEAR CHUCK...

We had no idea where Chuck's ashes were until we heard from one of Chuck's brothers son and he said that he was buried in Green River, Wyoming with his Mother-in-law, Viola Blyze. Thanks to Kenneth Coley for the information and the headstone picture.
