I'm a very firm believer in what Hickory Starr, Sr. once said to me when I asked him if I should talk about our Ceremonial Grounds and the culture of the ᎠᏂᎩᏙᏩᎩ ~ Keetoowah. His response was a quote that I have since adopted. "Unshared knowledge, is knowledge lost." Hickory ᎡᏲᏎᎯ ~ Tseyosehi was the Chief of the Nighthawk Keetoowah Society at Redbird Smith's Ceremonial Grounds near Vian, Oklahoma off Moonshine Rd. He passed away in 1991 with family and friends beside his bed. Hickory's memory is still strong, and I miss him every day.. [Bruce Ross IV]
