He was the son of the late Jim Bill and Lena Judd Perkins.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Perkins of Summer Shade; one daughter, Sharon Chamberlain of Big Meadow; two sons: Donnie Chamberlain of Edmonton and Johnny Perkins of London; four grandchildren: Thomas Pennington of Burkesville, Donnie Jr. and Amber Chamberlain of Edmonton and Dusty Chamberlain of Columbia; two brothers: Lonnie Perkins of Edmonton, and Robert Perkins of Glasgow; four sisters: Shirley Pennington of Burkesville, Maxine Sexton of Edmonton, Rosella Roach of Louisville and Katherine England of Frankfort; father-in-law: Bill Lewis of London; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Pennington; two brothers, Ray and Wayne Perkins; and mother-in-law, Martha Lewis.
