Sister Silvina Bruns was born "Maria" on October 2, 1899 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio to Joseph Henry and Anna (Osterfeld) Bruns. She did January 29, 1918 at the Maria Stein convent and was buried on January 31, 1918 at the convent. She had four brothers and four sisters.
