William E. Gilmore, 51, of Youngwood, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, in Excela Health Frick Hospital. He was born Saturday, June 4, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late William J. Gilmore and Kathleen M. Colbert Gilmore, of Hunker. He worked as a superviser for the election board of Westmoreland County. Surviving are his wife, Rita A. Amdy Gilmore. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Ann Leighty. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the C. RICHARD MCCAULEY FUNERAL HOME INC., Youngwood. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Bane officiating.
