Linda Lee (Bornowsky) Tedder, 60, died on Nov. 24, 2012, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.Linda was born on Jan. 21, 1952, in Newton to Francis D. and Evelyn J. (Voran) Bornowsky. She was the oldest of eight children.Linda attended St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated from Newton High School in 1970. She attended Wichita State University and was employed as a Senior Grant Administrator at Wichita State University for over 30 years.Linda was a very warm, caring, giving individual who always put others before herself. She was also very intelligent, creative, was a talented artist, and had a beautiful singing voice. Everyone that knew her will remember her great sense of humor. Her family will remember her as a wonderful grandmother, great-grandmother, mother and sister.She is survived her son, Mike Tedder; grandchild, Lexi Tedder; great-grandchild, Jenna St. Martin; sisters, Paula Sullivan, Gail Roland, Mary Daugherty, Jean Kemp and Rita Winfrey; brothers, Ralph and Larry Bornowsky; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Francis and Evelyn Bornowsky.A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 1 P.M. on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 12:30 P.M., prior to the funeral mass. Visitation is scheduled from 3 to 9 P.M. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Petersen Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8 P.M.
