Mr. Glenn Albritton, 72, of Corsicana passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana. He was born on November 17, 1944 in Corsicana to William Ernest and Muriel Albritton.
He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He always enjoyed spending time with his family, and was always willing to help anyone he could. He was a faithful member of Westside Baptist Church, and was a member of the Corsicana Emergency Corps for many years. He was employed for many years with Summerall & Beauchamp and then later with Lewis Palos as a delivery driver. After retirement he enjoyed building and working on antiques, and could build just about whatever you wanted.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bill Albritton.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Albritton; son, William E. Albritton and wife Diane of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Glenda S. Mershawn and husband Michael of Corsicana; step-sons, Danny Parker and Frank Parker of Corsicana; grandson, Cody Albritton of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Melissa Albritton of Charlotte, NC; step-granddaughters, Amber Diggs of Corsicana and Heather White and husband Grant of Taylor; six step-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jimmy Crenshaw of Levelland, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Prairie-Point Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Talbert officiating. Interment with military honors will follow the service.
