Fred "Buddy" Austin, 61, of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012.

He was born July 12, 1951 in Blytheville, AR to the late Fred and Faye Austin, was a retired Garland County Deputy Sherriff, a member of (Bethel Chapel Baptist) of Piney Baptist Church, and was an avid hunter.

He was predeceased by his parents.

He is survived by his best friend and wife, Kathy Austin, his daughters, Dana Minton (Lee McKee); Amber Bell (David); a sister, Danella Grant (Leo); his favorite aunt Esther Muncrief; four grandchildren, Chris Alexander, Promise McKee, Dalton McKee and Stormy Karr.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 4th in the Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Catcher officiating.

Memorial donations may be made in his honor at any Summit Bank.
