WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. -- Gary "Rusty" Eugene Willett, 64, Wesley Chapel, formerly of Henderson, passed away Sept. 18, 2007, at James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

He retired from Whirlpool after 30 years and was of the Catholic faith. He loved to barbecue and feed his family and friends, and he collected antiques. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Willett; brothers, Bill, David and Marion Willett.

Survivors include his best friend and companion, Bettie Katherine Willett of Henderson; two daughters, Jamie Willett and Kathy Phillips and her husband, Randy, all of Henderson; a son, Gary "Joe" Willett and his wife, Missy, of Henderson; two brothers, Butch Willett of Coleman, Fla. and Ronnie Willett of Seminole, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Tiffani Joe Willett, Jessica Paige Willett, Coltan Sutton, Tyke White, Cammie Hargett, Chad Glenn, Josh Gish and his namesake, M'Kenzi Kathryn "Garison" White; an honorable great-grandchild, Kendall Kae Sutton; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; an honorable nephew, Billy Willett.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Coursey will officiate. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Worsham Post No. 40 Burial Detail.

Pallbearers will be Joe Willett, Butch Willett, Billy Willett, Chad Glenn, Josh Gish, Coltan Sutton, Tyke White and Ken White.
