Rita L. Gibbs left this earth on December 20, 2004. Mrs. Gibbs was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, mother-in-law, father-in-law and a brother-in-law. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Howard M. Gibbs; son, Loyd E. Gibbs; daughter, Carol G. Crum; two grandchildren, Allison Johnson (Bobby) and Justin Crum; two great-grandchildren, Grace and Ethan Johnson; brother, James (Adeline) Loyd; sisters-in-law, Maxine Loyd, Betty Loyd, Mary Ruth (Bob) Cory and Selma Gibbs; numerous nieces, nephews and her best friend of 60 years, Carleine Mackey.
