TRENTON -- Irene Brewer, 88, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008.
Mrs. Brewer was a member of the First Baptist Church of Trenton, Ga. and longtime resident of Trenton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. "Slim" Brewer; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Frances and Thomas Smartt; grandson, James Martin Sloan; five sisters and one brother.
She is survived by two brothers, Orville Marrow, of Warren Mich., and Berlin Marrow, of Hartsille, Ala.; three granddaughters and their husbands, Paulette and Ken Tullis, of Ider, Ala., Sandra and Gary Koch, of East Ridge, and Angela and Gordon Geralds, of Ooltewah; nine great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. EDT Thursday in the Ryan Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Cantrell officiating.
Interment will be in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. today and 11 a.m. until funeral time on Thursday.
