Mrs. Minnie Eberhardt, 72, of 415 East Union street, died at 12:35 o'clock, Friday afternoon, at the Highland Hospital. Mrs. Eberhardt had been ill for some time. She was born July 14, 1871, in Pin Oak township, and at the time of her death had reached the age of 72 years, three months and one day. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Delbrugge. On August 29, 1893, she was married in Edwardsville to John Eberhardt, who preceded her in death in 1926. She was a member of the Eden Evangelical church.
She is survived by seven sons and four daughters: Herman of Moro township; Mrs. Margaret Wheat, Edwardsville; Ben, Michell; Karl, Ft. Russell; Mrs. Lottie Ursprung, Ft. Russell; Erwin, Bethalto; Gustav, Ft. Russell; Mrs. Nora Kruckeberg, Ft. Russell; Mrs. Viola Suessen, Bethalto; Loring, Marine; Staff Sergeant Edmund, of the Army Air Corps, stationed in Victoria, Texas; three step-sons and one step-daughter, Leonard Eberhardt of Boise City, Okla.; Albert Eberhardt of Ft. Russell township, and William Eberhardt of Wood River. She is also survived by one brother, Herman Wibbing of Pin Oak township; 51 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Eden Evangelical church. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The body will be at the Marks-Weber Funeral Home until time of the service.
