Lillian Margaret Rector passed away at St. John's Medical Center in Anderson after an extended illness. She was a native of Hancock County and lived in Markleville most of her life. Lillian was a daughter of Stantford L. Dudley, and Emma Jane "Jennie" Carpenter Dudley who preceeded her in death.
She and her husband, Valorous C. Rector operated the Rector Funeral Home in Markleville from 1935 until his death April 15, 1966.
Services were held Monday December 6th at the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home in Anderson with the Reverend John K. Summers of the Ovid Community Church officiating. Burial was in Harlan Cemetery.
