COOKEVILLE — Funeral services for Ina Henry, 101, of Cookeville, will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today, Monday, Jan. 21, and from 11 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday at the funeral Home.
Mrs. Henry died Sunday morning, Jan. 20, 2013, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Oct. 16, 1911, in Putnam County to the late Dillard and Darria Bumbalough Mackie.
Mrs. Henry was a homemaker and attended Eastwood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Henry; a son, Harlen Henry; a grandson, Donald Henry; a sister, Ola Winnie; and a brother, Lonnie Mackie.
Her family includes four daughters and two sonsinlaw,
Lois and Bud Davis of Cookeville, Edith Bradley of Sparta, Virginia Matheney of Nashville, and Ruth and Ray Young of Algood; nine grandchildren, Rick (Michelle) Henry, Martin McDaniel, Felicia (George) DiVine, Mark Matheney, Danny (Jama) Matheney, Pam (Gene) Green, Mona (Gary) Taylor, Monica (Phillip) Robinson, Mike (Michelle) Jackson; 15 greatgrandchildren; and six greatgreatgrandchildren
