Jane Rhodes Tyler , 57, wife of the late Toby Edward Tyler , died Saturday, June 30, 2007. Born to the late William Thomas and Mildred Lee Rhodes, she was originally from Charlotte, N.C., a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School and attended Wingate College. A gifted poet, she wrote beautiful poems with passion. She was also an excellent cook, much to the joy of her family and longtime close friend, James, and often to the joy of her loving and devoted dog, Gracie.
Known as "Aunt Jane " by her nieces and nephews, Jane was an integral part of her loving family and will be forever missed.
