Born July 24, 1945 in Danville, she was the daughter of Theodore R. Hill and Gladys Dabbs Hill. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Howard Lawson, Sr. and two brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Fuqua (Keith); a son: Charles Howard Lawson, Jr. (Laura); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brothe, Michael Hill.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
