Susanna married Christopher Demuth on April 8, 1777 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. They had two sons and eight daughters: Joseph, John Frederic, Susanna Catharine, Anna Rosina, Anna Maria, Rachel Elizabeth, Sarah Catharine, Sybilla Margaretha Rebecca, Abigail and Lydia.
On July 5, 1803, the family migrated to Gnadenhutten, Tuscarawas County, Ohio, and settled on a farm just outside Gnadenhutten. They were active members of the Moravian Church, and lived there for the remainder of their lives.
Susanna died on July 15, 1817, and was laid to rest at the Moravian Cemetery, which is now the Clay-Union Cemetery in Gnadenhutten.
