FORDS - Funeral services were held this morning (Wednesday) for Miss Martha E. Lauritsen, 72, of 555 New Brunswick Avenue, in Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge with Rev. John Wightman, pastor of the First Congregational Church, Woodbridge officiating. Burial was in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Miss Lauritsen died Sunday in Muhlenberg Hospital, Plainfield.

Born in Perth Amboy, Miss Lauritsen had lived in the area all her life. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and its Ruth Circle and was affiliated with the Americus Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star for over 25 years. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens Club of Fords.

She is survived by a brother, Hans P. Lauritsen of Rahway and a sister, Mrs. Carolyn L. Jochen of Metuchen.
