Funeral for Helen Willhelmina Dethlefs of Forest Grove was Monday. Vault entombment was in Riverview Cemetery in Portland. She died Thursday in a Forest Grove care center at the age of 88.
Mrs. Dethlefs, who was born and raised in Cornelius, had lived in Gaston and Forest Grove.
She was a former employee of Gray and Co. and for Hudson House Cannery.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Blooming and Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Forest Grove.
Survivors include her two brothers, Fred Goetze of Hillsboro and Gerhard Goetze of Portland; and two sisters, Anna Boge of Cornelius and Emma Scott of Winchester.
The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2327 17th Ave., Forest Grove 97116.
