June 2, 2006 -- Kimberly Joy Stiles, 28, of Syracuse, died Friday at her home after a courageous seven-year battle with pulmonary hypertension.

A lifetime resident of Syracuse, she was a 1995 graduate of Corcoran High School and received a bachelor's degree from SUNY at Oswego. Kimberly was a customer service representative for Advent Medical Systems for four years. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, the choir and Elizabeth's Circle.

Surviving are her partner of 11 years, Melanie Riddel; parents, John D. and Martha H. Stiles; one sister, Sarah (Stiles) Katzer; brother-in-law, Christopher Katzer; nephews, Jonathan and Joseph Katzer; grandmother, Anne T. Hayes; Thomas and Debra Riddel and family, all of Syracuse; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 801 E. Colvin St., Syracuse. Family and friends may call Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
