A Solemn High Mass of Requiem was celebrated Tuesday morning at St. Anne's Catholic church for Thomas J. Clukey, 63, who died suddenly Saturday night at his Dover road home. Rev. Leo Cary of Dover-Foxcroft, Rev. C. J. Enright and Rev. Martineau of Dexter officiated.

Interment will be in the spring at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.

Bearers were five nephews: Claytus, Loren, Raymond, Nazier and Nelson Clukey, all of Dexter; and Albert Clukey of Sangervi1le.

Mr. Clukey was born in Dexter, Feb, 2, 1886, the son of Nazier and Locarde (Belanger) Clukey, and had lived here all his life. After about 45 years as a dresser at the Amos Abbott Company mill, he was granted a leave of absence last November.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie (Pooler) Clukey; two sons Lionel, of Miami, Fla., and Melvin, of Dexter; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd R. Brown of Bangor, and Miss Angeline Clukey, student nurse at the Sisters' Hospital in Waterville; one grandchild; two brothers, Elmer, of Sangerville and Joseph, of Dexter.
