THE TITUSVILLE (PA.) HERALD, MARCH 7, 1957

Mrs. Carrie B. Bimber of Tidioute
died Tuesday night at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Dora
Snavely, Tidioute, RD 1, following
a lingering illness.
Born in Warren County on April
1, 1877, 'she was the daughter of
Henry H. and Betsy Gibson Conklin.
Survivors are the following
children: Elmer Bimber, Mrs.
Dora Snavley and Mrs. Nellie
Morrison, all of Tidioute; Mrs.
Laura Samson, Warren; Mrs.
Levia Sweetland, Youngsville, and
Mrs. Ruth Sampson, Titusville;
six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister,
Mrs. Ethel Cady of Pittsfield.
She was preceded in death by two
sons, Howard and William Bimber.
Rev. H. M. Stevenson of the
Tidioute Methodist Church will
conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sage Funeral
Home, Tidioute, where friends
may call. Interment will follow
in Youngsville Cemetery.

Family Reunions Chambers-Gibson The fourth annual reunion of the Chambers and Gibson family was held at Island Park, Youngsville, August 20th, with 150 present. After a bountiful picnic dinner the meeting was called to order by the president, Mrs. Carrie Bimber. The following officers were elected: Mrs. Carrie Bimber, Tidioute, president; Mrs. Bert Richardson, Bolivar, vice president; Mrs. Nettie Huff, Wrightsville, treasurer; Mrs. Hattie Daily, Meadville, secretary; table committee: Mrs. Alma Dingfelder, Mrs. Edith Gibson, Miss Leona Daily, Miss Nellie Bimber, Mrs. Isabell Shaner. The 5th annual reunion will be held at Island Park, Youngsville, the third Sunday in August, 1934.
