Funeral for Glen Brisbine of Gaston will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Fuiten-Rose Mortuary Chapel in Forest Grove. He died Saturday in a Portland hospital at the age of 70.

Mr. Brisbine was born in Moro. He was raised in the Pumpkin Ridge area and attended Hillsboro High School. He lived in Hillsboro until moving to the Cooper Mountain area in 1949. He moved to Gaston in 1982.

While an apprentice with Peerless Trailer Manufacturing Co., he worked on the first tandem axle trailer. He later worked on the construction of several bridges in Portland, and in 1965 he went to work for Tektronix Inc. in Beaverton. He retired in 1982 after working 17 years in maintenance with Tektronix.

For the past three years, Mr. Brisbine had been a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in the Blooming community south of Cornelius. He was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Beaverton for 35 years.

Surviving Mr. Brisbine are his wife, Ruth; two sons, Glen E. of Troutdale and Max A. of Aloha; his father, Lyman Brisbine of Santa Cruz, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

The family suggests remembrances be contributions to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Route 4, Box 104, Cornelius 97113.

Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Blooming.
