She was the daughter of Louis and Bessie (Miller) Hesson. On Feb 3, 1951, she married Ralph W. Mayo, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons: Ralph E. (Anita), Ringsgold, GA, Douglas (Darlene), Lewisburg, Dennis (Tracy), Arcanum, and Timothy, Joliet, IL; three daughters: Deborah (John) Kremer, Ft. Loramie, Denise (Rick) Lee, Ansonia, and Teresa Hammons, Maryville, TN; a sister, Marg (John) Kell, Greenville; thirteen grandchildren, one step great-granddaughter, and three great-grandsons.
Deceased are a daughter, Diane Mayo; three brothers: Lloyd, Gene, and Paul; and two sisters: Mary Hines and Dorothy Labig.
She was retired from Masters Industries, Ansonia, after 20 years. She was member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Frenchtown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Frenchtown, with Rev. David Vincent officiating.
